I'm an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sedimentary and Environmental Geology of the Institute of Geosciences, University of Sao Paulo (IGc-USP), Brazil.
I hold a degree in Geology (2012), a Master's degree in Geotectonics (2015), and a PhD in Mineral Resources and Environment (2021) from IGc-USP, as well as a degree in Computer Engineering from the Virtual University of the State of Sao Paulo (UNIVESP) (2022).
I'm an associate editor of the Brazilian Journal of Geology and a researcher at the Spatial Analysis and Modeling Lab (SPAMLab) of IEE-USP. From 2018 to 2023 I worked as a geologist in the Prevention Division of the Civil Protection and Defense Office of the São Paulo City Hall.
My research interests cover a wide range of topics, and include: Remote Sensing, Digital Photogrammetry (SfM-MVS), Digital Outcrop Models, Rock Mechanics, Slope stability, Structural Geology, Data Analysis, GIS, Data Science, Spatial Databases, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual/Augmented/Extended Reality, Front-end and Mobile Development, Adaptation to Climate Change, Geoscience Education, and Disaster and Risk management.
Head of [SPAMLab](https://spamlab.github.io/). We work together on research related to drones, GIS and digital models. Was my undergrad and PhD supervisor.
